"May lugar ka rito"

Wala na! Uwian na!

May nanalo na!

That episode was a total table-flip moment for me! Like, I was literally smiling the whole time. I mean I smiled in different levels? I don't know if you understand me or what?

But I smiled because I felt sincerity.

I smiled because the production is great.

I smiled because the cast is perfect.

I smiled because it still pinch bits of life and reality bites.

There are others saying that Gaya Sa Pelikula is a "god-tier" BL series among the others that we're watching right now. I always thought that this was "over rated?" but no! Hell no! It is not! It is indeed a "God-tier" series. I mean what's not to like? What's not to love about the series so far?

You have great actors. Sincere artists, who are by the way came from the strict culture of discipline of theater, that are successfully conveying the messages to their audience. The screenplay is getting better and better as the season goes. Kuha ang kiliti ng mga manonood. Totoo kasi at may kurot sa mga nangyayari sa totoong buhay.

Naalala ko, may isang direktor at manunulat ng isa ring BL series na nagsabing ang goal niya/nila ay ipakita sa mga manonood ang mga "normal" na nararanasan at nararamdaman ng mga tao. Well, more than the rants, at pambabatikos, I think there is a much better way to stir the pot to not just make people feel uncomfortable and crave for challenge in the status quo.

And I felt that Gaya Sa Pelikula is doing a great job in this aspect.

Puwede pala!

Puwede palang pag-usapan at talakayin ang problema sa pamilya nang hindi ka nakakaramdam ng "discomfort".

Puwede palang magkaroon ng mas bukas na isipan sa iba pang sensitibong usapin sa lipunan gaya ng "priviledge" at kahirapan. Ahem! Hello sa mga burgis na batang nakatira sa condo?

Puwede pala talagang maging concern sa isang taong hindi mo pa naman talaga nakikilala.

You know? There's beauty in everyone nga raw!

I'll cut with the film making and production technicalities of this show. Established na ang galing ng produksiyon sa unang tatlong episodes ng serye.

Wala lang. Gusto ko lang i-indulge 'yung genuine happiness at kilig na naramdaman ko sa pagtakbo ng kuwento nila Vlad at Karl. Gusto ko lang purihin ang galing ni Anna, Scorpio, ang #ChisKa o #ChismosangKapitbahay na malupit makatunog ng mga sinungaling.

Gusto ko lang makisabay sa hagikhik ni Ate Judit sa "Haaay mga bakla nga naman"

at mangarap na balang araw ay may bubulong sa akin nang "I'm gonna kiss you on the cheek. Ok?"

Gusto ko lang maging masaya!

At napakasaya ko!

And yes this is indeed a TGIF moment for me. Well, at least for the next 5 more weeks.

I said I'll not blog about it pero grabe eh!
